We wanted to make KFC’s Christmas special sound as good as it tastes. So we tapped into the science of Sonic Seasoning – using music and sound to enhance flavour profiles and dial up the tasting experience.

In partnership with renowned neuroscientist and pioneer of neuro-marketing, Professor Gemma Calvert - we turned the most recorded holiday song of all time - Jingle Bells, into the "sauce" that pairs best with KFC's Parmesan Truffle Chicken.

The track was engineered to dial up the umami of the parmesan, the creaminess of the truffle, and the crispiness of the fried chicken. Most importantly, we made KFC’s Christmas Special into a curious aural experiment that anyone could test for themselves.
